I finished Tim Darnell's new book, Slay Your Giant - this book will impact the world! I was led to a breakthrough in my life and a million dollar idea for our team members that I am working on this week. I am sure I will re-read several times. Bravo! Reading this book made me very uncomfortable, but I could not put it down. Within the first few pages the "Giant" that I try to ignore began to rear its persistent and ugly head. I think the role of a Giant is to make itself comfortable in your life, hide in the background and hope you ignore it, and then jump out at every opportunity and mess with your life any way it can. Reading this book forced it to the spotlight... that spotlight being my attention and my prayers. I can feel it getting smaller and smaller every day. I hope that this book makes you very uncomfortable and forces your Giant into the spotlight. I want to thank you for the book and your prayers. It's totally amazing how God works. I am reading the book and up to chapter 7, tomorrow I go to court but I am not afraid anymore. I submit everything to God and He will be glorifed no matter what. I love and trust the Lord and been serving Him for 10 years it's time I turn everything over and walk by FAITH and not by SIGHT.
